Quality Inspector
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of product quality by conducting audits and inspections. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Your role will also involve participating in meetings, managing MRB meetings, and reviewing equipment calibration and maintenance records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, development, operations) to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Communicate quality issues and findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to share information and updates.
- Manage MRB meetings.
- Review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on time.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in quality control, identifying and correcting defects in finished products through inspections and testing.
- Strong experience in quality assurance, maintaining a proactive process aimed at preventing defects.
- Proficiency in quality inspection processes to evaluate products or services against quality standards.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent visual acuity and ability to identify even minor defects.
- Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulations.
- Ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Clear and accurate record-keeping of inspection results.
- Effective communication with production personnel, quality management, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5 am to 3:30 pm, with additional hours required on Fridays to meet production needs. The role requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and involves standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. Climbing a portable ladder and using Personal Protection Equipment will be required. This position requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. The facility is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ 85212.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
