Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with quality standards for wire harness assemblies and soldered connections. The ideal candidate will have experience with IPC standards, visual inspection techniques, and precision measurement tools to maintain product integrity and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect wire harness assemblies for proper routing, termination, and secure connections.Perform visual and dimensional inspections of solder joints per IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Conduct continuity and resistance testing on electrical assemblies.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.Identify and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.Ensure adherence to ESD, safety, and quality protocols throughout the inspection process.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or quality preferred.Experience: 2–3 years in quality inspection for wire harness and soldering in a manufacturing environment.Skills:Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Other Requirements:Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while performing inspections.Good vision for detailed visual inspection (corrective lenses acceptable).Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
