Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Quality InspectorDepartment: QualityFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptRevision Date: 5/16/2025Reports to: Quality SupervisorPrimary Purpose: To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.Essential Functions:· Print labels for specified shifts· Perform 1st piece approval process· Provide boundary samples for all production runs· Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell· Perform label verification process - 1 tote per pallet· Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific· product· Perform LPA audits as scheduled· Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging,· quality alerts, and visual aids· Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift· Assist with training of new / in-training operators· Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion· Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)Qualifications:· Good organizational skills.· Ability to work well within a team environment· 1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics and automotive industry.· Basic knowledge of quality control· Excellent attendance record· ***These qualities are minimum requirements for the position, additional expectations can be added by CPI management to meet customer requirements.***Physical Requirements: Standing, bending, lifting, twisting
