Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $30.00 - $35.00Job Title:Quality Control InspectorLocation:Memphis Area (Onsite)Compensation:$30$35 per hourSchedule:MondayFriday, approximately 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4550 hours/week)Relocation Package AvailableAbout the Opportunity:An established and growing construction and metal fabrication firm is seeking aQuality Control Inspectorwith a strong background in structural steel. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role best suited for candidates who enjoy detailed inspections, working closely with production teams, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.Key Responsibilities:Inspect fabricated steel components to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standardsInterpret and review blueprints, shop drawings, and specificationsConduct material and weld inspections using non-destructive testing methodsAccurately document inspection results and maintain compliance recordsCollaborate with production and fabrication teams to identify and resolve quality issuesEnsure adherence to safety regulations and AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standardsRequired Qualifications:ActiveCertified Welding Inspector (CWI)certificationSolid understanding ofstructural steelfabrication and assemblyProficiency inMIG and TIGwelding inspectionExperience reading and interpreting technical blueprints and specificationsStrong communication skills and meticulous attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in theconstruction or structural steelindustryFamiliarity withAISC standardsand industry best practicesWhat Were Looking For:Candidates within areasonable commuting distance(or willing to relocate)Team-oriented individuals who thrive in tight-knit, hands-on environments
