Job DescriptionJob DescriptionVolt takes great care of our great hiresVolt is immediately hiring for Quality Inspectors in Sun Valley, CA!As a Quality Inspectors you will: Collaborate closely with the lead or supervisor during final inspectionsSelect jobs for inspection based on priority and production scheduleMatch parts with their corresponding shop traveler documentationCarefully remove finished products from hooks and racks, ensuring no damageHandle parts gently to prevent surface scratches or “metal-to-metal” contactVerify that plated items meet customer specifications and quality standardsReport any defective parts to the lead or supervisor for evaluation and next stepsUse magnification tools, such as microscopes, when required for detailed inspectionAccurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital entries, including traveler forms, Webapp scans, and rejection logsSupport other departments as needed, including masking, receiving, and wiringThis is a full time opportunity. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. Overtime required. Temp-to-hire. 1st shift- 5am-1:30pm2nd shift- 1pm-9:30pm3rd shift- 9pm-5:30amThe Ideal Candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications:Basic ability to interpret engineering drawingsComfortable with computer-based tasks, including data entryStrong problem-solving capabilitiesAble to read and write in English at a functional levelClear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writingFlexible and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced settingTeam player who communicates well across departmentsWorks collaboratively to support product development and deliveryMaintains professionalism and respectful interactions in the workplacePreferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, plating, and quality Bilingual in Spanish and English Pay is $18/hr*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
