Safran Cabin is looking for a Quality Inspector Level 2 in Marysville, Washington, United States. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, with 4-7 years of experience. Familiarity with Windows Operating System and basic skills with Microsoft office systems are preferred. The candidate must possess the ability to use precision measuring instruments, read engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature, and effectively use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. The role involves identifying problems with some solving capabilities.

Responsibilities include understanding and carrying out oral instructions, reading work orders, scrap tickets, job lot tickets, graphs, logs, schedules, and complicated instructions. The inspector must observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc., to determine operating conditions, read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, layouts, specifications, etc., and prepare detailed records such as FAI reports, NCR reports, operating logs, and quantities. The role involves inspecting, examining, and observing for obvious and not easily identified product or equipment defects, counting, making simple arithmetic additions and subtractions, using measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, weight scales, micrometers, calibrated steel tapes, calipers, etc., planning and scheduling movement or flow of materials or products, using non-power hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, etc., planning own work activities, planning work activities for others, training other workers, working alone, working as a member of a team, working without supervision, working with minimum amount of supervision, working in a timely manner for long periods, and working on several tasks at the same time.
