Quality Inspector at NSC Technologies

Job DescriptionJob Description POSITION SUMMARYThe Quality Inspector is responsible for performing first piece, in-process, and final inspections on all products toensure they meet quality standards. This role involves rotating between various stations in the QA Lab to conductthorough inspections and audits across different departments on a daily basis.RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily inspections on all products, including:1. First piece inspections2. In-process inspections3. Final inspections Rotate between all stations in the QA LabPerform first piece, in-process, and final inspections on all products, including: cutting samples – buffing andpolish samples – Hardness verification (Vickers) of samples – Magnaflux Inspection – Micro Inspection, toensure compliance with quality standards.Dimensional analysis of parts using CMM/Hand gaugesPerform other duties as assigned, including off-site sorting and product transfers, as needed to support qualityassurance activities. Safe working habitsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in quality control, inspection, or a related field is a plus.ExperiencePrevious experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment is preferred.Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection methods, and testing equipment.SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Good communication skills, both verbal and written to document findings and report issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Other RequirementsAbility to work flexible hours or shifts as needed. Willingness to perform off-site product sorting and transfers when required. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.Must be willing to work outside of schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. #INDLICompany DescriptionNSC Technologies is committed to connecting good people with good jobs!NSC is an innovative staffing firm that specializes in placing qualified skilled, technical and professional talent in virtually any market.
