We are looking for a Quality Engineering Internfor Summer 2026!Please note this position is fully in-person in Buffalo NY and housing is not provided.Job SummaryOur Quality Engineering Intern will be able to learn more about qualities functional relationship with operations within a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to have a career in operations quality and has an interest in manufacturing. You will focus on becoming familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements that must be met for NMTs manufactured medical devices. As a part of the quality and regulatory team you will analyze our current records while recognizing possible gaps that enter risk into our Quality Management system.Essential Job Functions1. Develop and execute remediation plans for identified gaps based on QMS analysis2. Collaborate with team members in production quality and regulatory to build robust documentation to support audit readiness and process improvements3. Deploy a plan for remediation of electronic backups of quality documents4. Collaborate with QA staff to improve the calibration system for equipmentRequirements Student currently enrolled in a bachelors degree in a related engineering science or life science field Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in manufacturing/operations Willingness to learn about manufacturing processes and quality assurance through daily activities. Ability to work independently Strong verbal and written communication Willingness to learn be mentored and improve by accepting candid feedbackKnowledge Skills and Abilities Excellent project management skills Strong problem solving skills to make informed decisions Self-motivated Organized and detail oriented Good math skills Experience with Microsoft Office & Oracle preferredOther InformationParticipate in the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by completing required job safety training identifying workplace risks.
