Job Description

DescriptionThis position is responsible for maintaining quality control processes testing products and recording and analyzing results gathered to ensure Sherwin products meet quality specifications. This position is responsible for testing production batches according to specific written testing methods and identifying issues of both in-spec and out-of-spec data. The technician will interpret results and historical data to ensure the product meets or exceeds the customer requirements for quality as well as provide instructions to production personnel regarding adjustments to batches as needed.Additional InformationRotating Night 12s Shift: 5:30pm - 6:00am (36/48 hour work week)Night Shift Premium: Monday - Friday $0.40 Saturday $0.90 Sunday $1.15This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Companys applicable plans.This position is eligible for health benefits such as medical dental and vision coverage Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) disability coverage retirement and savings benefits vacation and holidays. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all tests are completed and results meet all specifications before going to the next production processEnter all batch data into the electronic batch records systemGenerate appropriate paperwork as needed per customer specificationsGather and send customer samples as requiredUtilize appropriate computer systems to ensure effective testing of productsDetermine disposition of non-compliant finished goodsPlace non-conforming material on hold as neededSupport the ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.Maintain inventory of lab suppliesIdentify and communicate product issues to other departments as neededCreate maintain and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirementsAssist in training of other lab technicians as neededQualificationsMinimum RequirementsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futurePreferred QualificationsHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a quality control laboratoryHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facilityHave an Associate Degree or higher in ChemistryRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Bidding,Imageready,Administration,Healthcare,Conveyancing Paralegal,Arabic Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
