JOB DESCRIPTION

Quality Manager - Facilities (Housekeeping & Maintenance) - GM

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and maintenance across a large, multi-building campus. This role evaluates service quality, drives adherence to operational standards, and proactively identifies and resolves issues before they impact the client experience. The position works cross-functionally with facility management, maintenance teams, and client stakeholders, focusing on quality assurance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Quality & Operations: Conduct inspections, enforce standards/SOPs, and proactively resolve issues using work order systems (e.g., Corrigo)
  • Facility Oversight: Support the cleaning and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and coordinate with vendors/teams
  • Employee Engagement: Train, coach, and support a large union workforce to drive performance and accountability
  • Client Relations: Partner with clients, present results, and lead regular check-ins to ensure satisfaction and improvement
  • Reporting & Tools: Track performance, document findings, and create presentations using Microsoft Office

Work Environment: Extensive campus walking; flexible schedule including day, second shift, and split shifts based on business and operational needs

Compensation: Salary up to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in facilities, housekeeping, or maintenance (industrial, healthcare, or education preferred)
  • Experience in a union environment
  • Strong quality control, customer service, and team coaching skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with work order systems preferred
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
