The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Walker region seeking Quality Managers. Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards. Oversee all quality control processes including incoming material inspections in-process checks and final product testing. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and customer complaints. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and internal quality policies. Manage internal and external quality audits including ISO certification maintenance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality reduce scrap and optimize manufacturing processes. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures standards and best practices. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. Expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949). Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies including SPC FMEA Lean and Six Sigma. Strong analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Certified Lead Auditor (e.g. ISO 9001). Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP). Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. AS9100 IATF 16949 ISO 13485). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
