Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryThe Receiving Inspector approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms Quality Inspection duties for incoming materialsOperates CMM-Vision Systems programed by Quality EngineersUtilizes various inspection techniques and tools to ensure that vendor-supplied products confirm to standards.Verifies certification of processes and material on incoming products.Records incoming inspection data and maintains inspection recordsAssists with final inspection duties, when requiredRequirementsMinimum 1-year experience in a Quality roleComputer literateAble to read and understand Manufacturing Instructions.Understanding of QMS requirements for compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to plan and problem solveAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingMust be able to read, speak and write English
