Join our team and redefine what it means to be energized.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality before they reach our consumers. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related scientific field.2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the food and beverage industry, or pharmaceutical industry preferredExperience with quality systems management, CAPAs, deviations, complaint handling and investigation, and SOPsPCQI and/or HACCP Certification preferredExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey Responsibilities Customer Complaint ManagementMonitor, investigate, and classify customer complaintsIdentify trends and provide reports to leadership with recommended corrective actionsQuality Systems & ComplianceSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems in compliance with FDA, USDA, and international regulationsConduct audits of co-packers, suppliers, and internal processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standardsReview and approve documentation including Certificates of Analysis (COAs), batch records, and supplier documentationProduct Safety & TestingOversee microbiological, sensory, and analytical testing of raw materials and finished goodsManage product holds, dispositions, and root cause investigations for non-conformancesEnsure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented Supplier & Co-Manufacturer ManagementPartner with co-packers to review batch mixing instructions, ingredient management, and compliance with company specificationsVerify foreign and domestic supplier documentation under FSMA and FSVP requirementsSupport continuous improvementinitiatives in manufacturing quality and efficiencyBenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefitsLong- and short-term disabilityLife insurance10 Vacation days per year subject to accrual policy11 Company paid holidays401(k) with Company matchIdentity theft and legal servicesThe base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Celsius is a total rewards company.
