Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFord Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD. We are in search of a Quality Specialist that is responsible for supporting FCS OE customers, Ford Licensed Accessories with obligations to distributors and OEM. Lead personnel for identification and disposition of quality concerns for FCS customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Phases PPAP documentations and IMDS rejects and approvalsWorks in tandem with Engineering and Purchasing for successful program launchEnters data, approvals, and requests in CMMS3Supports disposition of all FCS, customer, and supplier quality issues and concernsContacts FCS suppliers and customers when quality concerns are communicated Logs and tracks incoming concerns and issuesCustomer location onsite visits for quality concern identification and dispositionReviews FLA supplier Quality evaluation by conducting onsite visits to potential supplier location to review, document, and report supplier adherence to FCS quality requirementReviews warranty data supplied by FCS India Quality TeamWarranty claims based on the Warranty Policy and ProceduresEnsures Warranty Process meets audit requirementsMaintains documentation of plan tests and resultsAdministrative and other support to the Quality DepartmentOther duties may be assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to access and understand Materials Requirement Planning, (CMMS3, GSAR, WIPS, BAAN, SAP, AIMS, WERS, IMS6/IMS7.Knowledge of the current ISO/TS-16949 standards.Knowledge of Quality Control procedures, requirements, elements, and fundamentals.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma Green and/or Black Belt preferred)We offer an attractive and competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, 401(k), disability, and tuition reimbursement assistance.
