Tomorrow cant wait lets shape it together!REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist Material FMC/PMD in Winston-Salem NC.The Quality Specialist Material FMC/PMD s responsible for quality control in the production areas including acceptance of incoming materials evaluation and release of materials work in process and finished products per procedural requirements and specifications. This role requires the use of measuring devices data analysis and report generation to support production operations and support continuous improvement initiatives.Your key responsibilities will include:Ensure fitness for use of raw materials prior to use in production through testing and/or COA review.Sampling of materials received into the facility per procedural requirements and specificationsEnter non-conformances as appropriate and determine disposition of non-conforming materials work in process and finished productsCoordinate and manage supplier activities within RJRT facilities to address Non-Conformance authorizing rework or rejection of materials.Perform sensory evaluations as required per specifications for odor and appearance.What are we looking for Bachelor of Science degree (Entry); or Associate degree with relevant experience (2 years); or High School diploma with equivalent relevant experience (5 years)Strong Quality background or related fieldExperience in quality testing using test devices preferredQuality conscious with attention to detailSelf-directed and self-motivated with a keen sense of urgencyWE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICANA member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUPAt Reynolds American we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
