Job Description

Job Title: Quality Supervisor- Permanent PositionSchedule: 6pm to 6am (Overnight)(Will cover onsite interview and relocation cost)Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Quality Supervisor, you will oversee and manage a team of Quality Technicians to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include:1. Interim Management of Quality TechniciansLead and manage the Quality Technician team to ensure product conformity with customer, company, and regulatory standardsOversee work schedules, timecard approvals, job assignments, training, and time-off requests2. Internal Audits & Corrective ActionsParticipate in internal audits to identify areas of non-conformanceLead implementation of corrective actions and ensure timely resolutionTrack, document, and maintain records for compliance3. Food Safety & Quality Issue ManagementTake prompt action to resolve food safety and quality issuesCoordinate and support food safety and quality training for plant personnelOversee the collection and submission of product samples for quality testingEnsure accurate documentation of test results and sample status5. Quality Improvement ActivitiesLead initiatives to improve product quality and reliabilityCollaborate with production shift leaders to ensure quality and consistencyConduct root-cause analysis for product holds or customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence6. Compliance ReportingMaintain detailed and organized quality control recordsPrepare and submit reports related to food safety, quality issues, corrective actions, and ongoing improvement initiativesRequirementsProven experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, ideally within food manufacturing or another regulated environmentBetter Process Control Aseptic Certification (preferred, not required)Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in food safety and quality-control-related issuesExperience conducting audits and implementing corrective actionsFamiliarity with compliance reporting and quality improvement processes
