Key Responsibilities Supervise train and mentor quality control technicians and inspectors. Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements. Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials in-process production and finished goods. Lead investigations into non-conformances identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Develop maintain and update quality control procedures and documentation. Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Analyze quality data to identify trends report on performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field. In-depth knowledge and practical application of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements. Proven proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis and 8D. Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments. Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and utilize precision measurement equipment. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification. Experience as an internal or lead auditor for ISO 9001 AS9100 or IATF 16949. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP). Previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical devices automotive aerospace).
