This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for quality, and a collaborative mindset.Job DetailsPosition Type: Hourly, Full-Time (Non-Exempt)Shift: 1stPay Range: $17.00 - $25.00/hour (depending on skills and experience)Work Location: Onsite - Saegertown, Pennsylvania 16433Key ResponsibilitiesInspect products and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standardsAnalyze inspection and testing results to detect patterns, inconsistencies, or deviations from standardsRecommend corrective actions to improve product and process qualityOperate and calibrate precision gauging instruments and inspection toolsMaintain compliance with regulatory standards and company quality proceduresRecord inspection data and prepare detailed reports for internal teams and leadershipMaintain and organize inspection equipment and ensure proper calibrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processesFollow all safety, environmental, and 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) guidelinesSupport ongoing continuous improvement efforts in quality and efficiencyPerform other duties as assigned to support team and business needsSkills/CompetenciesAbility to read and interpret technical documents, work instructions, and inspection protocolsExperience with precision gauging tools and calibration techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing quality issuesClear written and verbal communication to document findings and collaborate with teamsAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environmentWillingness to learn and adapt to evolving quality standards and toolsTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to manage individual responsibilitiesQualifications (Required)Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Experience: 2–4 years in quality control, quality assurance, or a similar role in a manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.Required to stand for extended periods.Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending and stooping required.Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.Must be able to work in noisy environments.About MacLean-FoggAt MacLean-Fogg, you’ll be part of a global manufacturing leader with a 100-year legacy of innovation and excellence.
