Job Title: Quality Technician BJob Code: 31689Job Location: Wilmington MAJob Description: Responsible for performing inspections tests and/or audits of purchased parts units materials equipment panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications. Interprets manufacturing drawings diagrams specifications and lists to approve or reject units test setups or systems for in process or final assemblies. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components raw materials and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. Ensures raw materials in-process and finished products meet company and test standards. Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.Essential Functions: Perform inspections tests and audits of purchased parts materials and assembliesInterpret manufacturing drawings diagrams and specifications to approve or reject unitsMaintain documentation and perform sampling and testing of components and raw materialsReview and report performance data to ensure compliance with company standardsDetermine inspection methods and proceduresInterface with customer quality representatives or suppliersConduct receiving inspection transactions in RIDs reviewing material certs and completing inspection reportsAnalyze measurement results and provide comprehensive reports to engineering and manufacturing teams.Work closely with the program team to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained.Review and interpret engineering drawings CAD data and specifications to determine inspection requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve quality processes and standards.Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or an Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Ability to obtain a US Security ClearancePreferred Additional Skills:Familiarity with other inspection tools and methodologies.Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $46000 - $86000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
