Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials in-process components and finished products. Conduct various quality tests using precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers micrometers CMM). Document inspection results non-conformances and maintain accurate quality records and logs. Assist in investigating root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures. Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective materials or products. Verify calibration status and proper functioning of inspection and test equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers micrometers gauges) and interpreting engineering drawings (blueprints) including GD&T. Solid understanding of quality control principles methodologies (e.g. SPC 5S) and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001). Experience conducting inspections tests and documenting results for manufactured products. Ability to identify non-conformances assist in root cause analysis and support corrective actions. Familiarity with data collection and basic statistical analysis for process monitoring. High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
