Quality Technician, D Shift - The Toro Company at The Toro Company
Job Description
- Sets up and implements quality conformance criteria and control charts and monitors for adherence to established QA and Toro standards.
- Assists Engineering and Operations in establishing or changing methods, techniques or materials for existing or new apparatus for the control of quality or improvements.
- Inspects parts or products as required and documents and reports findings, testing results and recommendations.
- Conducts sampling and auditing required to confirm adherence to quality procedures.
- Charts data gathered from various quality checks to be used in analysis, decisions and feedback for quality improvements.
- Monitors quarantined inventory levels and manages physical movement, identification and material transfers within SAP
- MUST speak and write English.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associates Degree or technical education, equivalency degree preferred.
- Five years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years using inspection equipment and methodologies within a quality management (QMM) system is required.
- Dimensional/smart scope vision system experience.
- Metrology experience including calipers, micrometers, and other handheld tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic to intermediate competency level in MS Office.
- Must possess good decision-making abilities.
- Ability to use instruction, training and analytical skills to resolve process issues.
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, remaining focused on the ultimate objective.
