About the role:TheQualityTechnicianIrolein Core Tech Polymers (CTP)isthe first point of contact for production personnelregardingquality quality technician is responsible for documenting non-conforming events as well as identifying and segregating impacted material. The position requires creative thinking and investigation skills to resolve problems that arise onextrusionproduction quality technician willbe responsible forsupporting multiple productionlines tokeep material flowing and assuring quality requirements aremaintainedthroughout the aptitudewill be a keycomponentas much of the technician roleinvolves working withtechnology systems including MES SAP downtime tracking andDataMetricsamong others.Your responsibilities will include:Investigate and document non-conforming events ineCAPAsystemPerform project and product testingAssistengineers in failure analysisProvide direct quality support forday to dayproduction floor operationsLearn and create setups in Statistical Process Monitoring (SPC) programLead andparticipatein continuous improvement projectsAssistwith quality issues and quality metrics related activities.Document non-conforming events and quarantineimpactedmaterialPerform testing gather data and analyze results of product testing and process monitoring.Assist with CAPA activitiesUse documentation systems to research information and generate Change Requests.Assistin the investigation and disposition of nonconforming materialsdesignsand/or systems.Review device history records (DHR) and acceptance records to ensure all activities in the Device Master Record (DMR) have been performed and approved.Update databases and spreadsheets used to track monitor andreportdepartment activities.Use the inventory and traceability management systems to transact and research materialCommunicate with a wide variety of BSC personnel in and outside of the plant.Required qualifications:High school diploma/degree/equivalent work experiencePreferred qualifications:1-2years experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft office (Excel Word PowerPointetc)Strongverbal/written communication skillsAA degree or higher1-2years in the medical device fieldExperience in SAP/MESor equivalent MRP systemLean manufacturing experienceWorkstation error proofing experienceRequisition ID:619734Minimum Salary:$37544Maximum Salary: $63856The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs.
