Key Responsibilities Perform in-process final and incoming material inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and drawings. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics. Document inspection results accurately identifying and reporting non-conformances or deviations from quality standards. Assist in the investigation of quality issues root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Maintain and calibrate quality inspection equipment and tools according to established schedules and procedures. Support the maintenance of quality records data collection and generation of quality reports. Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001). Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges CMM). Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications including GD&T. Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools such as SPC root cause analysis and corrective actions. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab). Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment. Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g. AS9100 ISO 13485 IATF 16949).
