Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials in-process components and finished products. Document inspection results non-conformances and quality data accurately. Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support corrective actions. Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment and tools according to schedule. Manage non-conforming materials including identification segregation and disposition. Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems. Generate quality reports and analyze data using statistical process control (SPC) tools. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g. root cause analysis CAPA). Experience performing detailed inspections and conducting various product tests. Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Qualifications Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Proficiency with statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP). Experience participating in or conducting internal audits. Basic operation or programming experience with CMMs or other automated inspection equipment.
