You'll spot what others miss and make sure every piece meets top standards.The Basics You Need 2+ years of quality assurance experience Associate degree preferred (mathematics or related field). Previous quality control or quality assurance experience using testing equipment strongly preferred. Ability to support the QA Manager in creating work instructions, SOPs, and lab test methods. Maintain and troubleshoot lab instruments; perform routine calibration and equipment verification in compliance with ISO standards. Strong understanding of quality processes, manufacturing workflows, and continuous improvement practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Proven ability to make sound decisions regarding product quality, nonconformances, and customer issues. Strong math, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail. Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality and Food Packaging Safety requirements. Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling, and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined. Assist the QA manager in generating work instructions and lab test methods.
