This role partners closely with the Quality Manager to advance business objectives and collaborates with the broader team to ensure all quality-related requirements are met.Core ResponsibilitiesTo perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Live our culture and exemplify our Growth Enabling Behaviors to be highly enabled to deliver highly empowered to succeed and highly accountable to lead.Perform Incoming and Final Inspections as necessaryAddress internal requests to initiate Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) in a timely manner and keep the total number of open NCRs below target.Support the Shop Floor with any Quality related requests.Lead root cause analysis and drive the implementation of mistake proofing to eliminate and preventative actionsComplete a 5-Why for any Repeat or Escape non-conformance.File and maintain Quality documentation as units are produced.Provide maintained Quality documentation upon request.Analyze existing operations and propose cost justified improvements.Create Certificates of Conformance when needed.Make requested changes to ISO documentation.Support ISO 9001 audit preparation and other various audit preparations.Implement any relevant Quality checks and measures.Mark and tag defective hardware as necessary.Create customer Quality documentation binders when required.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentBS Degree in Quality or Engineering preferred3 years of manufacturing experience in quality assurance or similar roleAbility to read and comprehend blueprints with GD&TISO 9001 or equivalent experience preferredCertifications an advantage including Quality Auditor Quality Engineer Quality Improvement Associate Six Sigma Green Belt preferredQuality inspection and auditing experience preferredAbility to create/revise Quality documentation to ISO 9001 standards preferredSelf-motivated personality requiredAbility to problem solve develop and effectively communicate solutionsWhat We Can Offer YouOur Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits program including:Generous PTO package and paid holidaysGenerous retirement savings planCustomizable health dental and vision insurance (eligible on first date)Career progression plansReward and recognition programsPaid parental leaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Wellness ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramPhysical RequirementsMust be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis.Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.Must be able to climb and descend stairs.Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.Work surfaces may include concrete.Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.Some travel to other locations meetings and/or seminars is required.The estimated pay range for this position is $28/hr. to $32/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
