Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQuality Test TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Quality Control Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products by performing essential testing during night operations. This position is pivotal in maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and FDA regulations, ensuring product integrity in a dynamic and innovative environment. The role is on-call, with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and may require weekend coverage as needed.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and specialized testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.Operate and maintain instrumentation.Document all results accurately in LIMS and ensure data integrity.Assist in investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results and support corrective actions.Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to resolve issues promptly.Maintain a safe, organized environment and adhere to safety protocols.Essential SkillsEducation in a related field or equivalent QC experience.1–2 years experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, and FDA guidelines.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts.Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment.Effective communication and documentation skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with LIMS and SAP systems.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.Ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions.Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, electronics, chemical production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.Engineering technician background.Ability to stand for extended periods and handle chemicals safely.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or 2-3 years of chemical or pharma manufacturing.Exposure to APIs is a plus.Candidates with a strong background in chemical or pharma manufacturing without a degree will be considered.Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes collaboration with teams of four supervisors and a dedicated team.
