This position reports to: Quality Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity
2. Assist other QC personnel, operators, assemblers, etc. when quality questions arise
3. Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
4. Train other employees
5. Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects
6. Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Role

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 year experience in quality
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferred
• Desired experience in SAP and Windchill
• Ability to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issues
• Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
• Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models
• Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
• Work along of as a member of a team Initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
