They will work closely with the Director of Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Dean of Business, Social Sciences and Public Services to meet departmental needs.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Maintain and monitor the security and safety of the Tower, House, supply closet, classroom, engine, ladder truck, and storage facilities. This includes stocking, storing, and dispersal of supplies, equipment, and materialsAssist Director of Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services with class scheduling for credit, non-credit and Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) AcademiesAssist Director of Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services with budget preparation by submitting lists of supplies and materials as neededMaintain inventoryMaintain semester schedules of labsMonitor and replenish supplies as neededCoordinate operation and maintenance of Fire Science laboratory equipment. Monitor equipment performance; repair as needed or contact vendor(s) for supportOrder supplies and equipment as needed.
