Job DescriptionJob Description$15.00 per hour and up! Lube Mechanic / Quick Lube or Prep TechnicianTo support our continued growth, the Mills Automotive Group has a need to add several Quick Lane / Express Service Technicians to our growing team located at FORD OF HARVEY. This position has starting guaranteed wages at $15.00 per hour, plus immediate opportunities to receive incentives to $22.50 per hour. Ideal candidates MUST HAVE basic automotive background and adequate tools to perform light service on vehicles. Quick Lane or express service experience at an independent or dealer is desirable. DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.What You Do:Conduct basic maintenance and filter services on Ford vehiclesOil and filter servicesTire rotations, balancing, tire replacements and tire repairsBattery testing and replacementInspect vehicles for needs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test toolsDocument and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer systemComplete and attend manufacturer training as requiredSuccessful attributes and skills:Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team playerTrainable. This is an entry level position.
