QUOTER at South Bay Circuits

POSITION: QUOTER DEPARTMENT: QUOTING REPORTS TO: SALES DIRECTOR GENERAL: Reviews Requests for Proposal (RFP) and other calls for proposals and estimates SBC effort (labor, materials, and schedule) required to meet the customer's expectations. Performs the necessary research and works with the functional group or individuals involved to ensure a comprehensive quote package is defined.. Evaluates/ re-formats customer documentation. Obtains quotes from suppliers and verifys data accuracy. Ensures cost-effective acquisition of high quality material/parts. Maintains accurate and organized records that document what SBC has proposed and what was finally agreed to. Improves quote integrity, minimize data entry. Ensures timely review and coordination of customer requests within the SBC organization. Organizes time and effectively interfaces with internal and external customers. Prioritizes tasks based on rapidly changing conditions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Is Able to read and understand fabrication drawings and other customer documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Excellent communication skills. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School dearee required,
