Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:R&D Engineering Lab ManagerAs an intern you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Memphis TN.Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.You will be mainly accountable for:Collaborating with various teams to support ABBs operations ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.Under supervision of manager or engineer perform engineering assignments associated with various engineering lab activities. Monitor progress comply with quality schedule requirements and maintain detailed logs and records.Use computer programs to perform various engineering operations conduct analyses and provide related data and information. Compile and assimilate data from various sources conduct relatively routine operations and tests prepare reports and develop graphics for presentations.Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems and assist in resolving more complex issues.Qualifications for the role:Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future.
