Position Title: Radiation Therapist Location: Utica NY 13502 Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) Shift: Day Shift 08:00 AM 04:00 PM Pay Rate: $60 $65/hour (up to $2437.50/week)Job Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiation Therapistfor an exciting job in Utica NY.Key Responsibilities:Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician orders and established protocols.Accurately position patients and operate treatment equipment to ensure precise radiation delivery.Review and verify treatment plans patient charts and imaging prior to each session.Monitor patients for treatment reactions and communicate concerns to the clinical team.Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and treatment record systems.Follow radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines to protect patients and staff.Collaborate with radiation oncologists medical physicists dosimetrists and nursing staff.Perform daily equipment checks and report issues promptly.Provide patient education reassurance and support throughout the treatment process.Qualifications:Active New York State License for Radiologic Technologist Radiation Therapy.ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (T).BLS Certification (AHA required).Minimum 2 years of recent experience in radiation therapy.Strong understanding of radiation safety treatment planning and oncology patient care.Proficiency with EMR and radiation therapy systems (e.g. ARIA MOSAIQ).Excellent communication technical and patient-care skills.For more details contact at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
