The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp.What You Will DoPerforms procedures setups simulations and prescribed treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist Physicist or Lead Radiation Therapist to provide the highest level of care to Radiation Oncology patients.Required QualificationsCertified Radiation Therapy (T)(ARRT) - ARRT -REQUIREDAHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIREDCertified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health -REQUIREDPreferred QualificationsBachelors Degree1 Year experience as a Certified Radiation Therapist in a physicians office or hospital setting.Other Qualification RequirementsSatisfactory completion of formal training program in a JRCERT/CHEA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent. - RequiredEssential FunctionsDemonstrates initiative and teamworkFollows instructions and works with minimal supervision; complies with work schedules and deadlines. There is evidence of patient satisfaction through the following: verbal comments from patients themselves or through their physician written feedback from patient evaluation cards comments and scoring on AIDET surveys and Press- Ganey results.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of radiation therapy.Ability to keep neat accurate records.Ability to follow physicians orders.Effective interpersonal and patient contact skills.Sign on Bonus - This position is eligible for a $10000 sign on bonus for qualified External Candidates with 2 years Radiation Therapist experience.
