Contribute to RF requirements analysis, definition, and management. Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. Instantaneous Dynamic Range, Noise Figure, Pass Band Response, etc.), interface analysis, and definition for the design, integration, and verification of RF components, equipment, and systems.Responsible for technical activity and completion of assigned task on time and budgetDesign, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystemsMay use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments.Report of progress and status regularlyReview customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variableProvide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignmentsSpecify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and servicesSupport the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirementsDevelop prototypes to retire key development risksCommunicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as requiredParticipates in preparation of less-complex proposalsMay provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnelSupport, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationAttend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetingsJob Responsibilities Part IIQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experienceCompetent technical expertise and application domain knowledgeAbility to work independentlyTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
