Join us and help change the future of healthcare for the better.The Radiologic Technologist (XRT) position is primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Youll help patients through the imaging process and work cross-functionally to support your team with other tasks that expand your knowledge and experience to keep our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone with availability and flexibility to work weekdays weekends and some holidays.*This is a 2-month contract position beginning on January 5 2025 and ending on March 5 2025.WHAT YOULL DOPrepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staffPrepare images for reading by RadiologistAssist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flowAttend staff and departmental meetingsComplete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol TestsProposes improvements to processes and workflowsWorks autonomously within established procedures and practices.ABOUT YOUHas advanced and specialized expertise typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience.
