Radiologist Abdominal Division-2 at University of Rochester

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester in Rochester NY is seeking a dedicated radiologist to join the abdominal imaging division.Abdominal imaging faculty perform CT/MRI/US/Abdominal Fluoroscopy and PET/CT with internal sub-specialization in line with a faculty members interests. The division presently consists of 14 faculty members supported by licensed professional extenders and a dedicated radiology communication center.We provide diagnostic imaging and teaching at the primary medical center and collaborate with superb clinical colleagues. Biopsies and other procedures are performed by a separate interventional division. Overnight coverage is provided by a separate emergency radiology division.The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows and is actively expanding fellowship research and advocacy programs. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology 3T MRI a PET/MRI Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT. The departments PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system. Annual study volumes surpass 900000 across multiple locations throughout our region.
