Job Summary: The Cath Lab Tech assists in the Cath Lab preferably with experience in Neuro IR and Cardiac procedures. This role involves on-call responsibilities and may require weekday and weekend availability. The expected patient ratio is 4:1. Location:Portland Oregon United States Responsibilities: - Assist with Radiology Tech duties. - Provide support in Cath Lab procedures. - Perform tasks related to Neuro IR and Cardiac procedures. - Answer unit phone and directs calls accordingly. - Performs data entry into electronic medical database systems. - Documents patient care and related duties appropriately. - Performs selected patient registration activities. - Coordinates equipment/supply needs. - Notifies appropriate department of equipment malfunction. - Performs any other related duties (e.g. clerical technical duties) as assigned. Required Skills & Certifications: - Radiology Tech certification - Cath Lab experience Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Experience in Neuro IR and Cardiac procedures (non-scrub position) Special Considerations: - On-call required (weekday and weekend). - No block schedules.
