Facility: Highland HospitalLocation: Oakland, CaliforniaStart Date: As scheduled (PRN basis)Credentialing Timeframe: daysShift Details:Day Shift: 8am 5pmCall: 24-hour call (ends at 8am the following morning)Type: PRN scheduled as needed Practice Overview Highland Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist for PRN coverage. This role involves both scheduled daytime procedures and 24-hour call coverage, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related IR experience. Clinical Details Daytime Procedures: 5 6 per dayCall Expectations:Weekday call-back: 1x/weekWeekend call-back: 2x/weekendProcedures Include:BiopsiesDrainagesTunneled accessHemorrhage control (trauma)Emergency GI, Gyn, and Urology IR proceduresSupport Staff: Full team of RNs and techs during the day; occasional second IR on siteEMR: Epic Requirements Board Certification: BE/BC in Interventional RadiologyLicensure: Active California Medical LicenseExperience:Minimum 3 years post-training IR experienceMust be comfortable managing trauma center IR casesRecent trauma IR experience required Why Highland Hospital?
