Interventional Radiologist - St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital - Chicago, Illinois

Prime Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Radiologist to join our dedicated surgical team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, a trusted provider of advanced, compassionate care in Chicago.

Position Highlights:

  • Practice Setting: Hospital Employed opportunity with a broad IR scope (peripheral vascular interventions, embolization, tumor ablation, dialysis access, pain management, biopsies, drainages, and acute care procedures), backed by a busy ER referral base and integrated care model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full spectrum of image-guided minimally invasive interventional procedures.
  • Provide timely consultations for emergent and inpatient cases through the 24/7 ER and hospital floors.
  • Interpret relevant imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy) and collaborate with referring physicians to develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Typical cases include
    • Image-guided biopsies and drain placements
    • Paracentesis and thoracentesis
    • Peripheral angiography and angioplasty
    • Central venous access, port, and PICC placements
    • Embolization procedures
    • Other general interventional procedures as needed

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology (or Diagnostic Radiology with IR fellowship)
  • Eligible for Illinois medical license
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Pay Transparency:

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $600,000 -$700,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
