JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a diagnostic radiologist looking for a rewarding, no-call, 1099 overnight position with strong volume and unmatched schedule flexibility? We are expanding our team and invite you to join a well-established private practice serving one of the most dynamic health systems in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a rare chance to join a stable, high-performing radiology group embedded within a major integrated health system without the burden of call. You will read mostly ER and inpatient exams across Abrazo facilities, with a compressed schedule that gives you more time off than nearly any other position in the market.

SCHEDULE & VOLUME
  • Fully REMOTE opportunity
  • Overnight hours: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. AZ time
  • 7 days on, 14 days off two full weeks off between every stretch
  • No call ever. No callback obligations outside your assigned shifts
  • Approximately 13 wRVUs per hour (approximately 110 wRVUs per shift)
  • Primarily ER and inpatient exams high-acuity, fast-paced, clinically meaningful work
  • Full home reading station provided by the group
ADDITIONAL SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES

Interested applicants also have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at negotiated rates:

  • Daytime shifts: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Evening shifts: 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • Daytime and evening compensation rates discussed with interested applicants
GROUP & PRACTICE OVERVIEW
  • 8 full-time equivalent radiologists and 15 per diem providers
  • Subspecialties represented: Neuro, MSK, Body, Emergency Imaging, Pediatrics, and Nuclear Medicine
  • Support staff: 1 Physician Assistant
  • Credentialing across 3 offices covering Abrazo West, Arrowhead, Central, Scottsdale, and Heart hospitals
  • Long-standing private practice with established hospital relationships throughout the Abrazo Health System

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • MD or DO with ABR board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Comfortable with general diagnostic radiology with emphasis on ER and inpatient studies
  • Suitable home reading environment (full station provided by the group)
