Job Description
CentralCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to provide full-time services at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This is a great opportunity for Diagnostic Radiologist to support our military and their families as civilian contractors (no military service required).
Diagnostic Radiologist Details:

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years within the last three (3) years practicing as a Physician Radiology. Residency and fellowship time counts as practicing experience.

Pay:Hourly (1099)

Availability:Full Time | 160 Hours per Month plus overage
-
1-2 Weekends per Month
-
Shift:M-F 7:30a – 4:30p (Considered Full Time)

Contract Length:1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend)

Malpractice Insurance:We Cover for Full Time (1mil/3mil claims made)

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:60-90 days
Diagnostic Radiologist Responsibilities:
-
Contract HCWs shall have experience in performing and or interpretation of broad scope of general diagnostic radiology through on site or teleradiology means (e.g., diagnostic x-ray, mammography, neuroradiology, ultrasound, general nonvascular interventional procedures, magnetic resonance imaging, computerized tomography, and fluoroscope procedures).

Contract HCWs shall have sufficient experience and ability to manage a general/minor interventional procedure (e.g., thyroid fine need aspirations, image guided chest or abdominal biopsies, breast biopsies).

Shall have demonstrated experience teaching in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-American Osteopathic Association accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program, fellowship training, or an equivalent.

Contract HCWs shall have sufficient training/experience to be able to perform the required duties which include, but not limited to the following: Performing a full range of Physician Radiology skills interpreting and analyzing various medical imaging modalities, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy
Diagnostic Radiologist Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology.

Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology, American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or equivalent.

Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
