Job Description

The Radiologic Tech - CT performs a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and/or Supervisor. The Radiologic Tech - CT uses a wide variety of radiographic equipment computers and detectors. The incumbent must be able to provide basic maintenance and repairs participate in QA and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. The Radiologic Tech - CT may be assigned to work in a variety of locations including a level 1 trauma center and/or critical care areas and may assist other radiology modalities and/or clinical services. The Radiologic Tech - CT must have the knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. The incumbent must be able to resolve conflict and endure the pressures associated with a constantly changing work environment. The incumbent may independently perform procedures on adults geriatric patients adolescents and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. The Radiologic Tech - CT works collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage exams. The incumbent serves as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assists in training other Imaging Technologists. The Radiologic Tech - CT may participate in the instruction of other fellows residents physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical Requirements:Two (2) years clinical must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in travelers profile). Prior traveling experience 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only)Education:Minimum Graduate of a School of Radiologic Bachelors degree in relevant & Certifications: Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License ARRT (R) (VI) certification requiredCT certification required Key Skills Environmental Safety,J2se,ABAP,Flexcube,Health And Safety Management,BI Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
