The Imaging Department at St. Anthony Summit Hospital runs with 30-35 certified imaging technologists and encompasses seven different modalities including: CT MRI Radiology Nuclear Medicine Ultrasound Mammography DEXA Echo and soon well be expanding to include a Cardiac CT program. We all operate as a unified team support each other and encourage cross-training. As a smaller hospital we also collaborate closely with all other departments to seamlessly to ensure exceptional patient care. Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesQualified external applicants may be eligible for a seasonal bonus up to $6000!***$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit Park Eagle Grand Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a CommonSpirit Health- Mountain Region facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). In the Radiology Technologist role you will:Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Act as a clinical resource to students staff technologist and other hospital personnel. Assure current standards of practice for the unit.Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following: Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as requiredOne year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographersHS diploma or GED requiredRegistered Technologist Radiology-R.T.
