Full job description

Full time x-ray technician needed for in a high paced and fast growing Orthopedic practice. Our offices are located in Plantation, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Radiology Tech that is responsible for getting clear imaging results, knows the proper use of the equipment and has the skills to keep patients calm and informed throughout the x-ray procedure.

Criteria:

• Graduate from an accredited program for Radiological Technology
• Licensed and/or certified if required by state regulations.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of x-ray techniques and proper patient alignment during procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and verify patient information.
• Ensure all related reports, labs and documents are filed and available in patient’s medical records prior to their appointment.
• Operate and/or assist with medical equipment used to administer routine diagnostic tests.
• Maintain all logs and required checks.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator, practice administrator or management.
