Full Stack Software Engineer (TypeScriptReact) at Radiology

Youll help architect and build end-to-end solutions for our healthcare platform from intuitive user interfaces to robust backend services. This role involves developing features that span our React frontend and TypeScript/ backend ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance throughout our patient and provider experiences.What youll do:Design and implement full stack features using TypeScript React Express MongoDB and PostgreSQLBuild responsive accessible frontend interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences for patients and healthcare providersDevelop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with comprehensive authentication authorization and HIPAA-compliant audit loggingCreate reusable React components and maintain consistent design patterns across the applicationImplement state management solutions and optimize frontend performance for complex healthcare workflowsWrite comprehensive tests across the stack including unit tests integration tests and end-to-end testsAlign with UI/UX designs and PRDs to translate screens and prototypes into production-ready featuresWork closely with data engineering teams to integrate analytics and business intelligence capabilitiesParticipate in architecture decisions that impact both frontend and backend systemsOptimize application performance troubleshoot issues across the stack and ensure minimal downtimeLeverage AWS services for deployment including S3 CloudFront Route 53 App Runner and FargateMaintain clear documentation for APIs component libraries and architectural decisionsAbout you:B.S. in Computer Science Engineering or related technical discipline with 4 years of full stack development experience or 6 years of relevant industry experienceStrong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript across both frontend and backend environmentsExpertise with React and modern frontend build tools (Webpack Vite etc.)Proven experience with Express and RESTful API developmentSolid understanding of both MongoDB (Mongoose) and PostgreSQL database systemsExperience with responsive design CSS-in-JS solutions and frontend performance optimizationFamiliarity with testing frameworks including Jest React Testing Library and CypressUnderstanding of web security best practices and experience implementing secure authentication/authorizationStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues across the entire stackExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsPreferred:Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR HL7 DICOM) and handling sensitive medical dataFamiliarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and security best practicesKnowledge of containerization (Docker) and microservices architectureProficiency with AWS services and cloud-native developmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with server-side rendering and optimization techniquesExperience integrating AI/ML services (OCR LLM) into web applicationsUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principlesThe base salary range for this position is $120000 - $180000.
