Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The primary purpose of the Carpenter is to complete rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including commercial drywall, metal stud framing, doors, frames, and hardware. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:• Prepare the layout of the project.• Constructs, remodels, retrofits and repairs interior and exterior structures made of various materials, specifically drywall.• Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.• Select necessary materials needed to complete project • Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.• Work various types of materials, such as drywall • Utilize necessary tools, such as, saws, drills, sanders, etc.• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.Requirements:• Experience building office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and/or institutional facilities • Informed and committed to the implementation and enforcement of safety programs• Possess communication skills
