Job Description

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Operate authentic propane fueled steam locomotive
• Ability to work with and read numerous gauges and valves
• Ability to maintain keen awareness of surrounding environment with moving mechanical parts, many of which are hot
• Observe the ride while it is in motion for the safety of the guests
• Maintain a clean work environment specific to the engine and tender
• Maintain Six Flags’ Guests First Standards
• Maintain a regular, prompt attendance record
• Other duties as deemed necessary by the Rides Lead


Qualifications:

• Minimum Age: 18
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Possess mechanical knowledge to aid in the maintenance of the engine
• Ability to work in heat related environment
• Good oral communication skills
• A minimum of two years Six Flags rides experience preferred
