Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob descriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Responsibilities:- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities- Collect data and track progress on behavioral goals- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent and effective care- Support individuals in daily living activities (ADLs) as needed- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions and progressExperience:- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation- Experience in special education or related field is a plus- Understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is highly desirable- Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgroundsQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is strongly preferred- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelinesBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications- Comprehensive training program provided- Opportunities for career advancement within the organization- Supportive work environment that values teamwork and professional growthIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, we encourage you to apply.
