React Architect Location: Minneapolis MN & Chicago IL Duration: Long term contract 12 years of experience level required Candidates who can work independently are more preferred. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced React Architect to lead the design development and delivery of scalable high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end architecture ReactJS and modern web technologies with a passion for creating innovative and maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the overall architecture and technical roadmap for ReactJS-based applications. Lead the design of scalable reusable and high-performance UI components and libraries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers UX/UI designers backend developers and QA. Establish best practices for code quality testing and deployment. Mentor and guide development teams on React best practices patterns and tools. Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to recommend improvements. Ensure technical consistency code quality and maintainability across projects. Optimize application performance and scalability. Contribute to architecture decisions related to state management routing API integrations and security. Drive the adoption of DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field. 7 years of front-end development experience with at least 3 years in ReactJS. Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale React applications. Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 CSS3 and related web standards. Expertise in React ecosystem including Redux React Context Hooks and React Router. Experience with modern build tools like Webpack Babel npm/yarn. Familiarity with RESTful APIs GraphQL and integrating with backend services. Knowledge of TypeScript is highly desirable. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest React Testing Library. Understanding of micro-frontend architectures is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
